Gina is a licensed professional counselor licensed in the state of Missouri. Gina graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Mizzou and obtained her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. Gina utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy techniques and strategies when working with her clients. She is also certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
Gina works with teenagers and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, and any life transitions. She believes adolescence and young adulthood are two of the most pivotal stages of life when it comes to personal growth and self-discovery, and she always enjoys the sincerity that these specific age groups bring to each session. She prioritizes the counselor/client relationship and feels that building that connection is a fundamental part of the process of change. Her goal is to make each client feel seen and understood, while also giving them the tools needed to thrive outside of the therapeutic environment.
