Sydney Buchholz

Support Staff

Sydney, a grad student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, supports families as liaison and is passionate about becoming a child and adolescent therapist.

Sydney graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lindenwood University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, with the goal of becoming a therapist specializing in working with women from diverse backgrounds. Sydney also serves on the leadership team for the St. Louis Wellness Society, a membership-based community that brings local women together through wellness-focused events and meaningful connection.

As Foundations for Change's Office and Marketing Assistant, Sydney supports the practice’s operations through a variety of administrative responsibilities and special projects. She also manages the practice's social media platforms and marketing efforts, creating content that highlights the practice’s clinicians, services, and mental health resources. Taken together, these roles have given her valuable experience in administration, outreach, communication, and community engagement. She hopes to carry this experience into her future work as a therapist while continuing to be an active presence in the St. Louis wellness community.
